I’ve been practicing Yoga for almost 25 years and have practiced and studied with a variety of teachers. Special thanks and gratitude to the teachings of Simon Low, who has laid the foundation of my practice and the teaching and guidance of Swami Pragyamurti and Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, whose wisdom and clarity have been an inspiration.
I’m a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and pregnancy yoga teacher and have been teaching for 10 years.
I’ve completed further training in teaching Yoga Nidra with the Bihar School of Yoga & Satyananda Yoga Centres and in teaching Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs (YHLB).
My yoga style is rooted in a traditional hatha approach, incorporating Buddhist mindfulness, yin yoga principles as well as creative and intuitive movements.
My classes are taught partly in a creative, flowing style, partly holding postures, leaving space for students to work as deep or gentle as they need to. Pranayama and meditation practices are incorporated into each practice and the breath guiding each movement.
